Big Turnout At Second Weekly Concert At Water Works Park
A large Sunday crowd near 2000 gathered at Water Works Park for the Carey Moose Band concert. Autos from Wesley Patterson to J. W. Powell lines the park as families enjoyed the lively evening from 6:30 to 9:30 with ice cream stands and a bustling fountain scene. Plans for a third concert by the Sycamore Ladies Band are announced for next Sunday.

Man Arrest Warrant Follows Desperate Dayton Salesman
Fred McNad a Davis Sewing Machine Co salesman from Dayton spent a week in town with wife and child renting rooms at Mrs Hiram Smith. He collected 40 from a sale then sent his wife to Chicago for a seriously ill mother. The party moved via Vanlue Findlay Lima and Chicago where police traced tickets and baggage. McNad was detained then freed after his horse and wagon were recovered.
