Sunday Night Concert At Water Works Park Draws Crowd
The Water Works park Sunday night hosted a large crowd near two thousand. The Sycamore Ladies' Band performed excellent music to the crowd's appreciation. The young ladies served without pay, chauffeurs provided by W. Z. Campbell Clarence Ruffing C. H. Travis and Johnson & Miller supplied four autos to transport them both ways.

Mrs Wallace Dies at Mansfield After Sudden Illness
Mrs. Jacob Wallace died at her Mansfield home Tuesday night after a vomiting attack that caused a burst blood vessel. Funeral services were held Friday in Mansfield. She was about sixty nine. She and her husband, a former partner in the Carey lumber business, were well known. Her son Dr. KB L Wallace lived in Carey for many years.
