Y Teens Hold Meeting Discuss Banquet and Easter Service

The Y-Teens meeting was led by president Glenda Snyder with minutes approved and roll by Barbara Elbert. Committees were formed for The Mom Pop and Me Banquet and the high school Easter service rehearsal. Mr Wilson spoke on The War and Your Life, and a joint meeting with HI Y on April 28 was invited. Al Mattoon of Findlay High spoke on vocational guidance as HI Y’s guest.

Community Good Friday Service at First Methodist Church

Community Good Friday services run from noon to 3 p m at First Methodist Church. Sponsored by Memorial E U B Christ Lutheran and Methodist Churches the event invites the public. Firemen Respond to Barn Fire at Findlay Street Residence

Firefighters were called Wednesday forenoon when sparks from a bonfire ignited the barn roof behind Joe Clark’s house at 511 East Findlay Street. Damage was slight. The property formerly belonged to Walter Payne.

Mrs Gertrude Orians Suffers Heart Attack

Mrs Gertrude Orians of 254 Findlay Street suffered a heart attack in her home early Friday. She was later taken to the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr and Mrs Vincent Arnold east of Carey where she will remain until recovery. Her condition is improving and she is able to be up some of the time.
