Carey student Dorthy J. Hood ranked first among 42 Wyandot county high school seniors taking the state scholarship test at Upper Sandusky High School on March 11. Local lime plant to spend sixty nine thousand dollars

L. G. Love of Findlay, general manager of National Lime and Stone Co., announced sixty nine thousand dollars in improvements at the Carey Plant. The work includes upgraded locker and wash facilities, a steel and glass repair shop with modern lighting, ventilation, and new machinery. Dust control and in-shop repair work will be added. funds are appropriated and construction to begin when materials arrive.
