Died Forty Years Ago Kentfield Relative Funeral

David L Kentfield a former resident of Crawford and father of Miss Laura Kentfield Shawtonh died at age 48 last Tuesday. Funeral day saw muddy roads as liverymen hesitated to provide horses and vehicles. Masdafe lodge members attended in a body and liverymen conceded to hire rigs only to Masons.

David N. Hill heads Hill Food Products Co in Los Angeles describing a modern mayonnaise plant. The installation is about 70 percent automatic with a 80 cases per hour output using Filler Machine Co equipment. The system features a raised platform, compressed air oil feed, and conveyors for filling capping and labeling.

Married Sunday in McComb couple vows in church ceremony

Mr Audley Beaschler son of Mr and Mrs P E Beaschler of east of town and Miss Gladys Alspach daughter of Mr and Mrs Aaron Alspach of Vanlue were married Sunday afternoon in McComb by Rev Carnes. They will live with Mr and Mrs Alspach while the bride finishes teaching a rural school near Vanlue. The groom is a telegraph operator for the Toledo and Ohio Central at Spore.

Wind damage destroys farm house near town

A strong Monday wind damaged a brick house four miles east of town owned by Henry Stanger of Toledo. The home recently had a new roof and porches and a furface installed when the wind tore off the roof and toppled a chimney and bricks along the exterior walls.

A well attended Easter program at St. Paul Evangelical church south of Vanlue featured piano duets by Martha Lee and Thelma Farthing, recitations by Gerald Baughman Esther Beck Reva Baughman Esther Clady Audrey Thomas, solos by Betty Beard Lester Beard and Rev. E N Gallagher, a violin solo by Lester Beard, a Martha and Don Presler duet, and an address by Rev. Gallagher.

Mrs Woodworth Dead In Toledo Funeral Attended

Henry Houk of Columbus and A J Frederick traveled to Toledo for the funeral of Mrs Anna Woodworth sister in law to Mrs Woodworth. The death occurred Thursday morning at the home of her niece Mrs Leonard Seiss in Toledo. The deceased was widow of Truman Woodworth and well known locally.
