In Milam County Texas Guardianship of William V Schiller and Edward Eugene Schiller minors announces a public sale. On November 13 1951 at 10 00 A M at the county courthouse the William Schiller Place described as 81 77 acres out of J A DePena League and Hefley subdivision will be sold to the highest bidder for cash per court order dated October 18 1951. Guardian Marie Schiller Conner signs the notice. Also mention of Blondie Thompson at Gatesville football game last evening.
Milam County Commissioners Court will meet in Cameron Texas on November 9 1951 at 9 A M to consider raising salaries of district county and precinct officers and increasing county employee compensation as authorized by chapter 320 acts of the 51st legislature. A petition signed by county officials and employees requests the increases. The court has not raised elective officers salaries since 1936.
