Sevent Grade students met October 20 1982 to form the Seventh Grade Victors club with Blanche Hensley as chairwoman. Officers elected were Winnelle Kidd president Paul Stach vice president and Gerald Mode secretary treasurer. A constitution and by laws were to be drafted.

Mrs Harriett Taylor age 97 died at the home of her daughter Mrs H C McKee in Des Moines Iowa Monday morning November 21. Her remains were taken to Canton Illinois for burial in the family grounds. Survived by four daughters including Mrs Gladys M Watson and Mrs V A Robinson of Fort Worth with spouses and other two daughters.

In Salty, A. J. and wife, aged 88 and 83, marked their 66th anniversary at the Rockdale County Singing Convention. They reside in Milam County, attend the Methodist church, and are grandparents of 71 with twelve living children including Ruby Lusk and Laura Cook, among others. Mr. Jackson served in the Confederate War and preserves wartime memories.
Judge Cavin Muse died Sunday morning at his Dallas home aged 61. A Dallas Corporation Court judge since 1929, he was a World War artillery officer and son of former judge Er. B. Muse. Survived by wife Angie Moore Muse, daughter Eleanor, brother Willard. funeral Monday at 2 pm, Oakland Cemetery burial with Masonic rites.
News from Cameron notes the death of J L Wills of Corsicana who died Wednesday and was buried there Thursday. He was married to Susannah Jackson of Cameron and had lived in Corsicana for years. Relatives from Cameron attended the funeral and stayed to visit Mrs Wills and her mother Mrs H A Jackson. A family reunion and several visits are planned with relatives from Houston, Dallas, Fort Smith, Robstown and Waco over Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
