The Wrigley Building, two years old, adds a north section nearly double the south area occupying the full block across North Water Street from Michigan Avenue. It is nearly finished and already filled by high class firms, serving as a concrete proof that advertising pays.
The Cameron city council enacts an ordinance requiring dog vaccination against rabies within 18 days of ownership. It creates duties for the Sanitary Officer to vaccinate, issue tags, and maintain records with a $2.50 fee, and imposes penalties up to $100 for noncompliance.
The ordinance suspends the three-reading requirement for an emergency and public safety imperative. It states the measure takes effect from its passage and legal publication and is duly ordained.
