Sunday School attendance reached sixty nine with Training Union at sixty nine members. Vacation Bible School set for June 0 20. parade planned for June 6 with lemonade committee. Worship sermons focus on soldierly faith and the rewards of the faithful. NYA closes June 2 then reopens July. Dixie White returns for a few days to supervise yard work and care for girls in the Home. Our ads always bring results.

Public notice of condemnation in Milam County Texas
The State of Texas issues a writ commanding Jessie MeLin T B MeLin George Lankford to appear in Milam County Court. A condemnation proceeding numbered 5909 concerns United States Highway 79 damage claims against multiple defendants including Edna Lankford Betty Bullock and Mary Alice Lankford. A special commission will assess damages at Cameron on August 4 1941.

Gun Play at Cafe Triggers Manhunt for Five Men
Police hunt five men after a Tuesday night gun incident at a cafe. A car linked to the suspects may be identified by license plate numbers. The group entered the rear area, the cook was threatened, and the men fled in a waiting car.
