Moseley Honored for Heroic Rescue of Jimmie Angell
Earl Moseley, a Texas Power & Light lineman, saved eight-year-old Jimmie Angell from a high voltage wire on a November afternoon in 1934. He used the prone pressure method of artificial respiration for 46 minutes, then helped load the boy into an ambulance. The company compensated Angell’s family with 16,000 dollars. Moseley received a medal at a Friday employes’ meeting in Dallas attended by company officials.
