Factors Favoring Industrial Growth
At the Texas Power and Light Area Development Seminar in Dallas, John H. Rutledge of Champion Papers outlines how local factors like labor, taxes, government, transportation, available buildings, zoning, safety, site considerations, human resources, and various aid programs shape site selection for industry. He emphasizes real estate as a key economic lever and notes that population growth and global demand drive corporate planning, with local communities urged to prepare for industrial expansion.
