Writ of Habeas Corpus Denied At Capital

A 17 year old girl held in Hays county jail on suspicion in a $2500 bank robbery at Buda near Austin had a writ denied by Judge J. Hamilton of Travis county. The judge ruled lack of jurisdiction as the girl is outside his court's reach. The case involves the university student and state employee who had posed as a newspaper woman to lure bank staff, clutching a revolver and stealing cash before fleeing in a Ford coupe.
