County Agents Field Day at McGregor Texas
A beef cattle field day at the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station in McGregor on March 29 featured an inspection tour and staff on hand to answer questions. Bulls from Hereford Charbray Angus and Brahman breeds were offered for sale first come first serve. All sale bulls were gain tested meeting or exceeding 2.6 pounds per day over a 140 day test with prices ranging from 375 to 650 dollars.
