A late night blaze destroyed the B L Saunders home and its contents in Reynolds. The fire, reported at about two in the morning, gutted an attractive, well furnished house. Firefighters prevented further spread though the origin remains unknown. Saunders place valued around 8000 dollars with 4200 building and 1500 furniture insured.

Fire Destroys Bonito Peach Packing Building
At about 2 PM yesterday a large two story frame building on the railroad right of way at Bonito known as the J. W. Musslewhite peach packing house was consumed by fire. The fire started from a spark from a passing train. A quantity of corn and other feed was stored inside but not saved. Estimated loss about 2500 with some insurance.

The sad intelligence was received Friday that Mrs Cassie Lee Helms Davis sister of Mrs P C Rowell of this city was killed instantly in an automobile accident near her home at Florala Alabama. Mr and Mrs Davis were returning from Opp Alabama when the accident occurred caused by a blow out of a tire. Besides her husband she is survived by her parents four sisters and two brothers.
