Budget Approved Gives Ga. Teachers $200 Pay Boost
Georgia Education budget of 139,781,460 approved by Gov. Griffin and the State Board of Education includes a 200 annual raise for 26,000 teachers. The increase funds teacher salaries with 12.5 million from the state and 5.1 million from local funds under the Minimum Foundation Program.
