Reynolds Postoffice to Occupy New Quarters by Jan. 1
Fire swept the Reynolds postoffice building on December 8 1947 destroying a three story structure and its contents including mail records and government property. Postmaster Blanche Marshall Brunson moved operations to the First National Bank building and plans to reoccupy a new modern facility by January 1 inviting patrons to visit and see improved offices and fixtures.

The Flint Electric Membership Corporation of Reynolds will hold its 12th annual meeting January 21 at the Reynolds High School auditorium. Atlanta December 19 Georgians can obtain 1949 auto tag application blanks this week. Tags will not be delivered until January as Director J E Briscoe of the motor vehicle unit explains. Applications just arrived from the printer and will be mailed to sheriffs and automobile dealers statewide. Owner signatures required before a justice of the peace or notary public and full payment must accompany the submission.
