Bryan Party Leaves Deer Hunt at Honey Island Station

A group led by Dr W H Oliver and Curt Oliver left Monday for Honey Island eight miles west of Kountze for a deer hunting trip. Other members from Caldwell and Marlin joined, with plans to camp in the forest and return by Sunday.

Dr Solomon in Bryan to visit son W W Solomon and family before returning to Pittsburg after weeks in Marlin at hot well baths. Former pastor of First Methodist Bryan he is beloved by many in the community and attended prayer meeting. He left on the noon train for his Pittsburg home.
