The green-jerseyed Bryan Bronchos from Stephen F. Austin High in Pryan defeated Bloomington Bobcats 32 to 18 at the A and M gym Friday night to advance to the state meet. Captain Gordon Edge and Lawrence Parker led a fast, hard-defensive effort as Parker and Edge tied for high points. Black and Lang contributed strong guard play while Aubrey Reece starred for Bloomington, but Bryan’s defense and timely scoring sealed the victory.
