Fertilizer Boosts Cotton Yield In Brazos County Demonstration
Brazos County farm agent H. K. Hornsberry reports Isaac Childs near Smetana used 200 pounds per acre of 10-2-2 fertilizer on eight acres. Stalks reached 24 to 26 inches with 10 to 12 squares forming, while unfertilized plots stayed under 10 inches with no squares.
