County Budget Works Out by Commissioners
Brazos county commission ers court aims to finish its January session today by adopting a budget for the year subject to July changes. The court approved a contract with Rankin Audit Company of Houston to audit county accounts and authorized Judge A S McSwain to seek a depository for county funds. Construction estimates for Highways 6 and 21 totaling about 30 600 were approved for payment.

State surveys completed field work for all Brazos district water projects including reservoir sites irrigation storage and overflow control. The unit operated from the state land office building and moved to water board offices upon completion.
