County agent C. L. Benson will lead an orchard planting and pruning demonstration at the Prospect community home of Mrs. J. R. Stewart at 2 p.m. January 17, 1933. Bryan Firemen Tie in Attendance Race for 1982 Honor

Two Bryan Volunteer Fire Department members tied for best attendance missing only four of 138 calls. Bill Blazek of Company 1 wins a badge bar. Frank Cash of Company 2 earns a badge for first full year. Chief C E Griesser begins his sixth term with Sam Noto as assistant chief and Company E Jenkins as secretary. The annual banquet will award the attendance prizes with details forthcoming.

Fine Bull Call For Negroes to Start Bull Ring

A Jersey bull calf is donated to Brazos County negroes by H. H. Williamson to initiate a bull circle. Coun ty Agent C. L. Benson aided the effort, and the calf rests with Joe Trigg in Canaan while H. K. Hornsberry supervises care. The cow numbered 6 from Williamson's herd, a Register of Merit entrant, initiated the project.
