Wellborn residents praised a Fort Worth First Methodist church sermon broadcast on WBAP. An Eagle representative and Shenley Battery Station radio agents hurriedly hooked up to provide Wellborn listeners the full service with music and choir, though they did not contribute to the collection plate.

Marlin Committee Tours Bryan Water Works and Disposal Plants

A Marlin city commission committee W E Derden W S Bowden and C T Curry visited Bryan to inspect its sewage disposal sites and review its water works completed at nearly 250 000 dollars. They praised Bryans odorless functioning plants and noted Marlins aging facility needs replacement or expansion. They will invite visitors to Marlin and plan to source ideas from Bryan and other cities they visited. City Manager J Bryan Miller guided the tour.
