Silver Jubilee Sermon Marked Bremond Pastorate

Dr. Walton described his rise from county agent to district agent and director of agricultural extension to lead the state's largest agricultural institution. Born March 8, 1883, near a town that later developed, his background combines practical and technical training in farming.

Election of officers for 1933 at federation meeting

Recording secretary is Mrs. F F Bibby and corresponding secretary Mrs. L O Wilkerson. The group to observe World Wide Day of Prayer on March 3 will meet at First Baptist Church. City Committee Divides Budget Duties In Two Sections

A tentative budget proposal is to be submitted later as the committee splits into two groups. The Finance group is led by vice chairman R. W. Howell with E. H. Astin and W. S. Hig es. The Membership group is chaired by vice chairman Charles Edge with R. C. Franks and others.

Opening of Highway No 21 Celebration Delayed

A rising vote of thanks was given R. W. McCullough for services as secretary. Discussion of celebrating the opening of Highway No. 21 east of Bryan was postponed due to weather until the west section is concreted, allowing formal celebration when the entire stretch opens. Directors present included Parker, Russell, Adams, Allen, Bradley, Bryan, Caldwell, Casey, Edge, Howell, Johnson, Karper, Martin, McQuillen, Sullivan, Weddington, and McCullough.

Banquet Honors First Baptist Church Officers and Workers
