The Bryan and Brazos County Chamber of Commerce Dairy Committee will convene a conference of dairymen to halt the price war threatening the local milk industry. County Agent Beason warned that failure to stop the war could erase years of progress. The date will be announced later as the Interrelations committee, led by President J F Casey, is formed to manage common issues in College Station and Bryan.

Car Damaged In Grade Crossing Collision Near College Station

Cash Box Taken At Bryan Bus Station Crime
The Bryan and College Bus Company station in Bryan was burglarized Thursday night. Approximately $15 in cash and tokens were taken from a metal cash box broken open, later found at the rear of the station. Ed R. Kone 84 longtime Austin judge died Monday in Austin after serving as a commissioner of agriculture earlier. Funeral was 4:30 p.m. today at First Methodist with Rev. Wirgit Fisher officiating. Survived by wife Lucinda H. Kane and four daughters in Goliad, San Marcos, Nashville, and Austin. Born March 15, 1848 between Plantersville and Montgomery counties, he lived in Austin and San Marcos for 60 years.

County officials' salaries slashed in January cost-cutting drive
