County Agent C. L. Benson notes this year's cotton may reach 20 000 to 25 000 bales, far above last year's 9 000, but behind normal due to timely planting delays and heavy rains. Infestations by cotton flea, leaf worm, and boll worm hinder yield, with boll worm hardest to control.
