Body Of Hammer To Be Returned To Austin Burial
Ensign George D. Hammer of Austin UT graduate killed in a seaplane crash into Lake Michigan. His body will be brought to Austin for burial. Wife Mrs Ellabelle Brunner Hammer and her parents Mr and Mrs Charles Brunner were notified. Ensign Edgar T. Stone of Howard SD also died in the accident. Hammer’s death follows other recent Austin air-accident tolls including Lt Cmdr Lewis N. Hancock of the Shenandoah. Hammer is survived by his wife and his Webb City Missouri parents.
