Exhume reveals suspect in Hammond murder case
Ervin Conway 23, son of Mr and Mrs J H Conway of Bryan, was arrested by Texas Rangers on a murder charge connected to fiancee Ledelle Hammond's death on June 16. He was jailed in Hearne after an exhumation of Hammond's body at Kosse cemetery and autopsy findings. The case proceeds to an examining trial before Justice J E Mooney. date not fixed.
