Negro jailed for alleged attempt on wife near Reliance
Sheriff Jess Gonlee arrested Pinckney Ford in Bras Es Bottom Monday after a month long search. Ford, a Negro, was brought to Bryar and placed in the county jail charged with attempting to murder his wife by firing a pistol at her at their Reliance home. Examining trial set for later this week.
