Negro Canning Event At Post Oak Near Bryan
About 125 people from four communities gathered at Post Oak three miles west of Bryan to cans beef. L. A. Nash directed the effort with 170 cans valued at 42.50 above costs, the Post Oak Club having canned seven beeves this season.
