Lightning Strikes Farmhouse. Family Survives Unharmed

A Brazilian style report says Lee Sausage and his family narrowly escaped death when a lightning strike hit their rock chimney at about 4 AM. The fire ignited a pillow and killed a hen and several chicks while the lamp burned unmoved. The family, including a small child, slept on one bed and escaped with only shock. A pair of mules near the chimney also survived.
