Short Course In Real Estate Offered At SPC
South Plains College offers a 30 hour course Fundamentals in Real Estate from June 12 to 17 in the Administration building. It satisfies Texas Real Estate Commission prerequisites for the State Broker exam. Jim Montgomery is supervisor coordinator and pre registration is underway.

Traffic Safety Act Signed By Connally
Governor John Connally signed the Traffic Safety Act of 1967 to create a statewide highway safety program and a Traffic Safety Fund. The act introduces laminated photo licenses, provisional under 21, four year renewals at six dollars, mandatory license suspension for violations, required rehabilitation for suspensions, driver education eligibility at 16, and mandatory protective motorcycle headgear from 1968.
