Rains Threaten Brownfield Rodeo Schedule And Parade
With six inches of rain on Terry County grounds officials hope drainage will allow opening the rodeo at 8 pm Thursday. Plans call for a parade along Ross Street with floats to join riders and a 4 pm feed in the Show Barn for sheriffs posies contestants and visiting riders. Grand Entry set for 8 pm nightly through Saturday plus dancing after shows with Jim Mackey and his All Stars.

City releases regular monthly water report for Brownfield
Brownfield residents used 61,304,200 gallons of water in May with a May 13 high of 2,576,600 and May 29 low of 990,900 gallons. May 1966 saw 47,822,800 gallons, about 13.48 million less.
