Audubon Round Table Forum Explores Bird Feeding Tips
The Bristol Audubon Society held a round table on Bird Feeding and Feeders at Guiteras House led by Mrs Joseph M. Robinson and Mrs Nathaniel A Gladding Jr. Junior members built bird houses with Harold N. Gibbs guiding. The discussion urged winter water, continuous feeding through spring, avoiding open ground feeding, using salt free suet, peanut butter for chickadees, and providing grit and shelter. Two feeder designs were shown a homemade tree hanger and a bought feeder.
