Council balks at Andrews school legacy bond use
Bristol town council at a closed session discussed the Robert D Andrews legacy of more than 130000 earmarked for a new school. They may recommend at June 16 town meeting that funds remain deposited with Industrial Trust, earning about one percent, rather than invest for building. The panel also considered public works employment and Metacom avenue water service to Bristol Narrows, with no final action.
