Fence plan to curb dump nuisance in town
The Planning Board will urge the Town Council to build a galvanized wire fence and gate at the town dump entrance to stop night fires and odors. They cite fires started after hours by trucks and youths, with the caretaker unable to control them, risking nearby homes and sleep. The proposed 55 foot barrier would cost about 250 dollars and aim to enforce shutdowns and protect residents.
