Traffic ordinances discussed by town council
Police Chief Anthony J. Ferrara and Attorney Lucien Capone briefed the Town Council on modernizing traffic laws and a proposed new police traffic court after an executive session. They noted a ban on double parking on Hope Street due to truck deliveries, with WPA workers compiling ordinances since 1916 and printing expected after changes. Federal funding covers most of the $3059 compilation cost, with town funds covering the rest including supervision and printing.
