Former Bristol Pastor Receives Honorary Degree
The Rev Frederick Driftmier, former pastor of the First Congregational Church in Bristol, received Alfred University's Doctor of Humane Letters during Sunday commencement ceremonies in Alfred, New York. He was also a commencement speaker and noted for his wide community service, including YMCA and religious leadership roles in the Middle East and Africa.
