Editorial Urges Reform in North Cemetery Care
An editorial criticizes the lax system for caring for cemetery lots at the North Burial Ground. It notes the four member commission only handles selling lots and road upkeep, while banked perpetual care funds are mismanaged without a dedicated overseer. It recommends appointing a single administrator to manage deposits, pay for care, and report annually.
