Funeral for Mrs. Jose C. Coelho at St Elizabeths Church
Gertrude Freitas Coelho 79 of 24 Thompson Ave died suddenly Saturday night after a long illness at her daughter Mary Batin’s home where she lived. She was born in Terceira Azores on June 7 1878 and was widow of Jose Coite Coelho. Services at George C. Lima Funeral Home 367 High St followed by a solemn Requiem Mass at St Elizabeths Church with Rev Henrique Rocha as celebrant. Burial in St Mary Cemetery. Bearers were her grandsons Joseph Robert Anthony Coelho Jr Frank Joseph Bragantin Jr and Lionel J Carreiro.
