Hunters League Forms as Wildlife Decline Spurs Action
Judge Ruigi De Pasquale hosted the launch of the ZARL Hunters League in East Providence on the night of a severe storm. President Giuseppe Pettine and other leaders urged separating commercial and sport fishing to protect the saltwater shellfish industry, advocating sanctuaries under state supervision. Over 100 sportsmen and their ladies attended despite the blizzard, with Dennis Ferreira and J. J. Bernard on the organizing committee.
