Town Beach Plan Advances in Narragansett Bay Area
The Recreation Board selects land along Asylum Road near Narragansett Bay for a town beach. Bristol lawmakers will seek condemnation to buy from the Colt estate, with plans to present costs to the Budget Committee and taxpayers in March. Support comes from Kearney Post and the Republican Town Committee, and a dedicated group must steer the project to final approval.
