Bristol Troop One marks 34th anniversary with service record
The First Bristol Troop Boy Scouts of America celebrated 34 years with an anniversary and Christmas party at Scout Hall led by George R. Fish. The troop reported 33 WWI and 53 WWII active scouts, with 250 former members serving in the last war, and 19 Eagle Scouts including O Paul Herzig who became a lieutenant colonel in WWII. A council citation honored leadership and a plan to replace Scout Hall was announced.

Bad Weather Causes Collision In Cranston Suburb
A sedan driven by A W Pathland of Cranston skidded while attempting to pass Miss Jacqueline Pettine of Constitution street, striking a parked car owned by Joseph F Rutledge of 706 Hope Street. Pathland’s car then skidded again forcing Pettine’s vehicle between the two cars and grazing the parked vehicle.

After dinner we split among the Red Green and Blue rooms and enjoyed Sylvia Zaremba and a final farewell in the East Room before departing at 10:45 with plans to meet again at the Gridiron Dinner.
