Obituary of Charles Saford Bristol native and lightkeeper
Charles Saford, a native of Bristol and a former keeper of the Bristol Ferry Lighthouse, died Wednesday at his son Rev Frederick W. O. Sanford's home. He was in his first year, born to Royal and Mary Reed Saford in Bristol, employed at National India Rubber Co. for years. Survived by Rev Frederick W. Sanford, rector at St Andrews Church Phenix, and several nephews and nieces in town. Funeral tomorrow at 2 p.m. at St Andrews Church Phenix.
