Reynolds Northup of the Highway Department said rain slowed the regular monthly rubbish drive. By yesterday 92 roads had been collected and 10 to 12 more loads were expected. crews would resume on a good day or complete the effort on the first clear day.
Miss Nora E Dwyer wed highway surveyor Richard Connery in St Marys Rectory officiated by Rev Michael J Ryan. The couple now reside at 20 Collins Street with Charles M Connery and another attendant as witnesses.
Miss Selda Miriam Berman daughter of Mr and Mrs Nathan D Berman Roxbury Massachusetts wed Morris Levy son of Louis Levy of 145 High Street at Temple Mishkan Tefila on November 22 at 7 pm. Rabbi Herman H Rubinovitz officiated with Temple Choir. The bride wore a white satin gown and carried a white Bible. her sister Helen Berman was maid of honor. Best man was Al Levy. ushers included Henry Levy David Fish Harold Krasnow Yale Newman and Abe Einstein. A reception followed in the Temple Vestry with floral decoration.
The bride wore an aqua gown with gold sequins and a brown orchids corsage. The couple left for a week at Mount Royal Hotel in Montreal. The bride, Memorial High School Boston graduate and Northeastern Law School alumna, works as Office Manager at National Floors Company. The groom, Colt Memorial High School and Rhode Island State College graduate, previously worked as a photographer and served nine months in the RAF Weather Service.
