Weather permitting on Sunday night December 23 Bristol Common hosts a large community carol service organized by Mrs M Theresa Donovan supervisor of music in public schools. Her detailed plan calls for about a thousand voices a 40 instrument band readings by S Morton Giles and performances by a tenor and a soprano soloist plus a Rotary Club quartet.
