Mr Stapert, world amateur champion typist from the Underwood Typewriter Co, visited the school with Jennice Minton and Barney Stapert. He demonstrated speeds from 130 to 139 words a minute during one minute tests while answering questions. He showed the gold and diamond medal won at the International Predicting Contest in New ark held October 20.
