The Town Council heard President Walsh report that United Electric Railways will add through trips to the Bristol Providence bus line and will cooperate on service. Protests on Hope street routing were noted, and High street was deemed best for large buses. Drivers are asked to horn and proceed cautiously. Permits were granted for Eagles smoker on Dec 19, church entertainments on Dec 7, a peddler license, and a fire-hazard building removal with possible town funding.

Social Study Supper In Rockwell Hall Draws Community
Last evening the Social Study Supper was held in Rockwell Hall with a large company from all elements of the community. The menu was served by the Ladies' Committee. Bristol Auto Stolen In Suspicious Nighttime Theft
Albert Makowsky of Bristol reports his car stolen after being followed by four men while returning from Fall River last Tuesday evening. He halted at a farm house for help as strangers entered his car and drove off toward Fall River. A taxi driver later saw Makowsky's car and the other vehicle, but police have no trace of the missing auto.

Death of Vincenzo Arcola At 36 In Usher Street Home
Vincenzo Arcola died after a long illness at his home 13 Usher Street in the 36th year of age. Born in Italy he lived here over a decade and worked at the National India Rubber Co factory. Survived by wife Maria and eight children, he belonged to the Prin cipessa Elena Society and Sons of Italy.
