Fifth District Court Voids Guilty Pleas in Larceny Case
Frank Vendituoli 29 of Charles street and Manuel Barboza 39 of 49 Oliver street pleaded guilty to larceny at a Fifth District Court session. Judge William T. O Donnell fined them $20 and costs. They were arrested Monday evening for taking two bottles of wine from Bay View Cafe and held overnight. Vendituoli faces multiple federal and state cases including conspiracy to defraud Cranston Town Co. and Industrial Trust Co. He was in New Hampshire for Christmas trees and expected back for trial. He has been in custody with Bristol police and awaits further proceedings.
