U S Rubber Company to Dedicate Honor Roll Today
The U S Rubber Company will dedicate an honor roll this afternoon at 3:00 led by Major Alex Smith of the War Department Industrial Service Division. Wesley A. The display, erected by the Employees’ Association, lists service members in white letters on black with a gold eagle top, and includes Edward MacDougald of East Providence as the sole gold name currently. Staff Sergeant Walter E Fields of 7 Howe Street received the Air Medal for exceptional merit during five bomber combat missions over enemy occupied Europe.
