Veteran Bristol bus driver eager to start 31st year
George Ingram, a cheerful Bristol bus driver with 30 years on the route, prepares for his 31st year. He ferries 42 children along Hope Street each school day, recalls fondly past shifts, and jokes with parents as weather and late arrivals test his patience. His wife praises his humor and dedication. The bus runs smoothly, and he plans to return next Wednesday.
